Craig Morland is a physiotherapist at Pro Sport Physiotherapy Huddersfield.

In 2014 Craig graduated with a master’s degree in physiotherapy from Northumbria University. Prior to this, he had obtained degrees in Sports Science (BSc) and Sports Therapy (MSc).

Following graduation from Northumbria University, Craig gained experience as a junior physiotherapist in the NHS, working alongside top health professionals in the musculoskeletal and respiratory services. He later left the NHS to work in private practice in Newcastle before becoming a huddersfield physiotherapist and joining the Pro Sport team as a physiotherapist in February 2020.

Craig has been working as a physiotherapist for a number of professional sports teams, including Sunderland AFC and more recently for The FA within the youth talent pathway, a role he still carries out.

Since arriving in Huddersfield in 2020 Craig has quickly marked himself out as a key team member in the Pro Sport Practice and one of the most inspiring physiotherapists in Huddersfield.

Amongst many other things, Craig is a back pain rehabilitation specialist using his excellent physiotherapy assessment and treatment skills to help hundreds of people in the Huddersfield area confront their problems, achieve their goals, and reach a pain-free life.

Craig’s is driven to help those people who have been failed by other physiotherapists and traditional approaches to get back on their feet.

As well as his impressive track record with back conditions, Craig’s unique combination of professional sports and education experience has made him an incredibly versatile physio. Of course, it has also made him the go-to physio for any sports injury in Huddersfield.

When he isn’t in his physio appointments Craig is a keen follower of his home football team Newcastle United which doesn’t make it easy for him to wear the Sunderland kit on a regular basis.

He also enjoys running and has completed a number of half marathons over the UK.
