Why Your Balance Isn’t As Good As It Used To Be

So Why Your Balance Is Not As Good?

As you get older it’s common to become a little bit unstable on your feet, this is because you tend to be less active and so your ankles get weaker. Causing you to easily lose your balance, go over on your ankle or even take a tumble.

Tasks you used to find easy now become a lot harder!
You might find yourself worried to even walk to the local shop in fear of falling over, but don’t worry, at Pro Sport Physiotherapy Huddersfield we know that strengthening your upper and lower body improves the stability of your ankles, making these simple tasks feel just like they used to…EASY.

Especially now that the warmer weather is on its way to Huddersfield and you can start going outside doing the gardening. You don’t want to worry about feeling ‘unsteady or ‘wobbly’ on your feet and you definitely don’t want that to get in the way of doing something that you love to do in your spare time.

If you want to be able to walk around your garden feeling confident, without the risk of falling over and feel completely stable on your feet so that you don’t have to ask for help from anyone else, then come down to the clinic and give our 3D Balance class a go for yourself!

Give us a call on 01484 443173 to find out when our next 3D Balance Class is!

P.S. Make sure you have some spare time after the class so you can wind down and enjoy a lovely cup of tea or coffee
